POSITION: ANTI-CORROSION SPECIALIST
The Anti-Corrosion Specialist manages facility and pipeline corrosion prevention programs. You will
monitor Cathodic Protection (CP) systems, chemical inhibitor regimes, and non-destructive testing
(NDT) to preserve asset integrity across the Agadem basin.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, inspect, and troubleshoot Cathodic Protection (CP) systems and transformer rectifier
units. - Monitor and optimize chemical injection programs (corrosion inhibitors, biocides, oxygen
scavengers). - Execute ultrasonic thickness testing (UT), analyze corrosion coupons, and evaluate ER probe
telemetry. - Draft technical risk assessments and field mitigation strategies for high-salinity and desert
operating conditions.
Key Requirements
- Education & Experience: B.Sc. in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering with
6+ years in onshore oilfield corrosion management. - Languages: Fluent French (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Certifications: AMPP / NACE CP Level 2 (or CP Specialist), AMPP Coating Inspector (CIP), or
API 570/510. - Vetting: Must successfully pass background
