Downhole Services (Ds) Senior Operator
The DS Senior Operator performs hands-on technical setup, operation, and preventive maintenance
of downhole equipment, slickline/wireline units, and pressure control systems during well
interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Rig up/down slickline, wireline, and downhole tool strings in accordance with engineering tally
sheets. - Operate winches, hydraulic power units (HPU), and pressure control equipment safely under
pressure. - Perform routine inspects, maintenance, and pressure testing on lubrication systems and
blowout preventers (BOP). - Assist the DS Foreman with inventory control, tool maintenance logs, and wellhead rigging.
Key Requirements
- Education & Experience: Technical Vocational Certificate with 5+ years of direct experience
in downhole tool operations and maintenance. - Languages: Fluent French is mandatory; working knowledge of English is desirable.
- Certifications: IWCF Level 2/3 (Well Intervention), Rigging & Lifting Certification, H2S Alive.
- Vetting: Must successfully pass background checks
